Eduardo J Mordujovich

Eddie’s practice focuses on probate/estate administration, guardianship and long-term care planning. Prior to starting his practice, Eddie cut his teeth on estate and income planning at a prominent local Gainesville financial-planning firm. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as research editor of the Journal of Technology Law & Policy and received the Book Award for Legal Research & Writing. Eddie received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a certification in International Business, from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

Eddie began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Fort Lee, New Jersey and was soon recruited to join a start-up Internet company in New York’s Silicon Alley as its sixth employee and marketing director.  As the first tech bubble was busy bursting, Eddie was hired onto the staff of then Sopranos actor and Emmy Award-winner Joe Pantoliano, with whom he collaborated on numerous film and writing projects. Eddie entered law school in 2006 on the heels of co-producing the film Canvas starring Pantoliano and Academy Award-winner Marcia Gay Harden. The film has been widely acclaimed for its realistic portrayal of mental illness and has become a regular part of Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training at law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Florida. As part of the CIT curriculum designed by a collaboration of mental-health professionals, organizations such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness and local law enforcement agencies, the film helps to train officers in de-escalation techniques when responding to mental health-related matters.

Eddie grew up in Miami Beach, where he earned his extracurricular keep as lead singer in the famed Rock Ensemble at Miami Beach Senior High, and spent his childhood summers in La Plata, Argentina, just outside the capital of Buenos Aires. After a decade perched between New York, Los Angeles, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Eddie returned to Florida in 2006 for law school and settled in the Gainesville area after graduation.

Eddie and his wife, Staci, a North Florida native, currently live with their five children in Newberry.  Eddie has a passion for serving the North Florida community.

Eddie is admitted to practice in Florida and is a Veterans Administration-accredited attorney. Se habla Español.
